Gubernatorial Debate

As part of the learning process into Ohio politics and government. Buckeye Boys State attempts to mirror the real Ohio political process.

In an Ohio political campaign, the major candidates seeking the office of Governor debate each other on the issues and philosophies of their respective campaigns in a moderated debate, so the voters may see and hear for themselves where each candidate stands on issues affecting the Governor's race. This helps prepare the voter to make an intelligent decision when they enter the voting booth.

At Buckeye Boys State, as part of the campaign process, a debate will be conducted between the two Boys State citizens nominated by their respective Boys State political party to run for the office of Governor of Buckeye Boys State.

The debate will be moderated by members of the Buckeye Boys State staff.
