Since Nicholas Jensvold, of Pennell City, has now been officially sworn in as governor of American Legion Buckeye Boys State (ALBBS), he has been working nonstop on his plans for a brand new department of government.
One of the things Governor Jensvold has been pushing for is a new temporary Department of Recreation (DOC).
This department will include a new cabinet position and three new part-time positions that will be open to the public for anyone interested.
The new cabinet position has already been filled as an appointed position, given to Carter Stewart, of Stockner City.
The first position is titled the Chief of Staff. This individual will be the “right-hand man” of the Director of Recreation. As described by Director Stewart, the job would entail being “top administrative advisor, help set priorities, manage staff, and ensure the department’s goals are being carried out effectively.”
The second position is the Operations Manager. This position would be something of the third in command or, as Stewart stated, the “left-hand man” to the DOC. In the words of the Director of Recreation, this job would entail “[overseeing] the department’s programs, facilities, and budgets.”
The third and final position is going to be the Campaign Manager. According to Stewart, this delegate will be “[the leader of] public outreach, marketing, and awareness efforts for recreational programs. He would work to build public support and communicate the department’s accomplishments.”
Jensvold has been utilizing his new power to implement brand new departments and cabinet positions for the good of the delegates as a whole. Everyone is waiting in anticipation to see what he does next.
