Dante Marsco’s Rise to Mayor

Jordan City has elected a new mayor, and this decision was made rather quickly. Dante Marsco of Jordan City won the election before it even started, running what delegates saw as a bold, confident campaign from the jump.

Marsco had a direct message of confidence and courage that helped him get the position early and win his city’s attention.

Throughout the campaign, Marsco stayed focused and composed. He said he did not let competition distract attention to his final accomplishment of becoming mayor. His bold tone and attitude drew attention and support from the city, and many saw it as strong leadership.

“I came into [American Legion Buckeye Boys State (ALBBS)] aiming to just be myself, and the people of Jordan loved it. This ultimately ended up with me landing the position of Mayor,” Marsco stated.

Delegates said that they were impressed about his balance of character traits and he perfectly represented how to have a confident attitude, but also keep it cool and not going too far.

Many of Jordan City citizens said Marsco’s campaign brought hope to the city and that they are confident in him as their mayor.

As the city made this decision, many were watching to see if the same bold and confident approach that helped Marsco win the nomination would now help him as a mayor. The citizens have hope that he will lead Jordan City to become the best it has ever been.
