Pennell Mayor Luke Webb’s first act in office began on Monday, when the party sat down to discuss the Bold and New Poker Act (Poker Act) of Koppin County and Pennell City. When nominating candidates for the city positions, one candidate stood out the most to the delegates of Pennell.

When elected Webb announced that he was going to turn the city into the gambling hub of American Legion Buckeye Boys State (ALBBS). Following this major announcement, the bold decisions began as the city board came together to start planning on how to accomplish the Poker Act of Pennell city.

The power moves came in by having people explaining the rules, having cards at all times and ensuring it would not get shut down. All were on board with turning their floor into a casino hall. City board and Webb are in the process of working on a poker treaty to be passed with the counties of Koppin for gambling to take place in Pennell.

The mayor’s plan is to open the casino in Pennell as soon as possible. City representatives are planning to petition for a treaty for all the cities of Koppin to come together as one big gambling hall on the second floor.

“This will be a revolutionary moment in Buckeye Boy State history [for gambling],” Webb stated.

Webb plans to come together with the other cities in Koppin County through gambling and the drive to have the best county in all of ALBBS.

“All will be welcome to play, and there will be low stakes and high stake tables,” Webb added.

Gambling has been a major topic across ALBBS. Power moves and bold decisions such as passing the bill for the casino could lead to the success or downfall of not only Pennell City, but the county of Koppin and their delegates.
